That HOLIDAY week...

This will be short, sweet and straight to the point...

Christmas was wonderful this year. Unfortunately, we were - once again - denied a holiday with our entire family because of the feelings of the ex's and the adult children. Other than that, it was a wonderful Christmas! Besides, this gives us years ahead to build up to that experience with ALL the children and grandchildren. Maybe one year it will happen!

This is that week BETWEEN holidays. I'm back at work, the kids are out of school, everyone is pretty busy. My vote is the world shut down between Christmas and New Years! Why not plan ahead. Close the stores, restaurants, and anything else that can be closed and leave us with our families and friends to enjoy the spirit of the season for a whole week building up to a new year filled with new appreciation for each other.

Okay, not reasonable or realistic. I just wish I had more time to spend with my family!

May your holiday season be filled with peace, joy, love, good health, and happiness that carries over and throughout the upcoming year!
