Reading a book...

After going over a year without being able to read a book, it's a great joy to be able to read! Just another of my daily, tiny miracles!!!

There are time when the little things in life mean the most. We all find those days and sometimes I find them incredibly amazing. Things we take for granted.

Even when it seems a little silly, celebrate life and the little miracles!

  1. Hello. I wandered over here from my brother, David Meyerhoffer's page and stayed because you look so familiar. Alas, my spotty memory can not retrieve where or when or how I may once have known you.

Then, I felt your angst and confusion, the piquentcy of your musings about your childhood religion and about Lilith. Additionally, I just got out of the hospital myself. My gift from the universe for returning to the valley after such a long time.

Unlike you, I'm not often given, anymore, to sharing my thoughts and yet I was drawn to share this with you, without attachment.

Given what you have choosen to share, you might be interested in a book by the illuminous author Ken Wilber called "Up From Eden". It is not necessarily an easy read, but I was endlessly fascinated. And it certainly put things in an interesting perspective.

I sincerely doubt one could find it in a library around here, nor likely in a bookstore without special ordinging. Nevertheless, I have a copy and should be delighted to lend it, if you are so inclined. It can be iconoclastic in its nature and sensibleness by way of fore warning.

I hope this finds you healthy and well.

    Aloha,

    Holman (aka Ron)
